Gothenburg's annual Harvest Festival is a community event with a Saturday morning parade.  Our church offers a lunch of sandwiches and pie after the parade.  This tradition of a place to visit with friends and time to enjoy a leisurely lunch has been going on for many years.  In the fall of 2007, the "pie crew" cut and served nearly 80 homebaked pies!
