The Second G is Grow

We are very intentional about helping all of us grow in our faith. We want to grow as a church both numerically and in spiritual depth. We will grow through Bible Study, prayer, mission projects, service,Walk to Emmaus, youth retreats, small groups and short term classes. We want to be a Biblically literate congregation. Our hope is that when people think of the Gothenburg United Methodist Church they say, "that is the church that takes Bible Study and Prayer seriously."

Opportunites for growth that we are offering right now are "Becoming Disciples through Bible Study. A 34 week survey of the Bible. Classes begin August 28th. 

Confirmation for 8th and 9th graders.  

Chrysalis (retreat for senior high youth) begins December 27-29, 30-January 1st)

Walk to Emmaus begins in February.
